What this service is

Power Coit Health is a personal health record organizer operated by JC Media Arts, Inc., 1880 Century Park East, Suite 1600, Los Angeles, CA 90067. It stores the health information you choose to add, shows it back to you, and prepares documents you ask for, such as a Doctor's Report to bring to an appointment. It is available by invitation. This policy says what is stored, where, who processes it, and how to remove it.

What we store

  • Your account. The email address and name your Google account shares when you sign in, and the profile you enter: date of birth, gender, ZIP code, height, weight, your answers to the preventive-care questions, your time zone, and a mobile phone number if you add one.
  • Your records. The lab and imaging PDFs you upload and the results extracted from them, your medications, your preventive-care plan with its dates and appointments, and the Doctor's Reports and weekly reviews the app writes for you.
  • Symptoms. Symptoms you log, in your own words, in the app or by text.
  • Connected devices. If you connect an Oura ring, a Withings scale or Apple Health, the sleep, activity, heart and body measurements they send.
  • Meals. Meals you log, including any photo you take of them and the nutrition estimate made from it.
  • Text messages. If you turn on SMS, the text of the messages you send us and we send you, kept for 30 days and then deleted. A meal or symptom you log by text is saved to your records like one logged in the app.
  • Usage. A count of the AI calls your account makes each day, used to cap them. There are no advertising or analytics trackers.

Every part is optional. Someone who only uploads PDFs has a complete record.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in the United States. The database, sign-in and file storage are with Supabase, US East (Northern Virginia). The application runs on Railway in the same region, and the files it holds for you (uploaded PDFs, meal photos, reports) live there too. Everything is encrypted in transit, and every row and file is tied to your account so no other user can read it. Credentials for connected services are held on the server and never shown in the app or shared.

AI processing

Some features send parts of your data to an AI provider to produce the result you asked for, and nothing else. The text of an uploaded document goes to Anthropic to extract the results, and your records go to Anthropic to write a Doctor's Report or a weekly review. A meal photo or a meal description goes to Google to estimate its nutrition, whether you add it in the app or by text. A text you send the assistant goes to Anthropic so it can tell what you are logging or asking and answer from your records; a text that mentions harming yourself is answered with a fixed crisis reply before any AI sees it. Both providers process it under their commercial API terms, which do not allow it to be used to train their models. We do not use your data to train anything, and we never sell it.

Email

We send email through Resend: sign-in links, and, if you turn them on under Reminders in Settings, reminders for screenings and appointments and a note when your weekly review is ready. Resend handles your email address and the message in order to deliver it. A reminder names the care item and never contains a result.

SMS

If you turn on SMS under Reminders in Settings, you can text the app to log a meal or a symptom or to ask about your own records, and we send the texts you turn on to the mobile number you entered: care reminders, a daily summary of yesterday's numbers, and your weekly review. Texts may include health details from your records, such as results, medications and symptoms. Replies come from an automated assistant; the number is not monitored and is not for emergencies. No marketing. Frequency is typically 1 to 2 messages a day, plus a reply to each text you send. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required to use the service. The consent shown at the point of opt-in reads:

By turning on SMS reminders and saving, you consent to receive texts from Power Coit Health (JC Media Arts, Inc.): care reminders, daily and weekly summaries, and automated replies to your texts, which may include health details. Not monitored. Emergencies: call 911, or 988 in a crisis. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply. Frequency varies, typically 1 to 2 a day plus replies. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.

A text can be read by anyone who has your phone, so health details by text are your choice: leave SMS off, or turn it off at any time, and the app keeps working the same. The assistant reads or writes your records only for a number that has confirmed a one-time code and belongs to your account alone. We keep the text of messages for 30 days so the assistant can follow a conversation, then delete it.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or turn SMS off in Settings. Reply HELP for help. Messages are delivered through Telnyx, our SMS provider, which carries your number and the content of every message in order to deliver it. Your phone number is never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. The full description, with sample messages, is on the SMS Notifications page.

Connected services

Oura and Withings are connected with your consent on their own authorization pages; Apple Health data arrives through an export you set up on your phone. You can disconnect any of them in Settings at any time. Disconnecting stops future syncing; what was already received stays in your account until you delete it or your account.

Who else sees it

Only the providers named here, each for the one job described: Supabase and Railway to host it, Anthropic and Google for AI processing, Resend for email, Telnyx to carry text messages, and Honeybadger, which receives an error report when something in the app fails (the technical details of the failure, not the contents of your records). Your data is never sold, never shared with other users, and never used for advertising. We would disclose it only if the law required it.

Deleting your account

In Settings, under Data & privacy, Delete account asks you to type DELETE, then removes everything: your records and files, your device connections and their credentials, your reminder settings, phone number and text messages, and the sign-in itself. It cannot be undone. You can also email contact@justincoit.com from your account address and we will delete it for you. Copies in our hosting provider's routine backups expire within a few weeks.

Not medical advice

The app organizes, trends and presents the information you give it. It never diagnoses, and nothing it shows, writes or texts is medical advice. The most it will say is that something may be worth discussing with your doctor.

Children

The service is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly hold their information.
