What we send
With SMS turned on, you can text Power Coit Health at +1 833 953 1989 to log a meal or a symptom, or to ask about your own records, including your medications and results, and get an answer back. We also send the texts you turn on: reminders for screenings, checkups and appointments in your care plan, a short summary of yesterday's numbers each morning, and your weekly review in full. Texts may include health details from your record, because that is what you ask for. We do not send marketing messages by SMS.
Replies come from an automated assistant, not a person. This number is not monitored and is not for emergencies: call 911, or 988 for a crisis. The assistant organizes what your records say; it never diagnoses, and the most it will say is that something may be worth discussing with your doctor.
Frequency depends on what you turn on and how often you text, and is typically 1 to 2 messages a day, plus a reply to each text you send. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS is not required to use the service; everything a text can do, the app does too.
How opt-in works
SMS is off by default. You turn it on inside your own account, under Settings → Reminders:
- Open Settings (the cog at the top of the app), then Reminders, and tap either row to open the Reminders sheet.
- Enter your own mobile phone number (US numbers only for now). Entering a number does not turn on SMS.
- Turn on the SMS reminders switch. It is disabled until a number is entered. The consent language is shown directly beneath the switch at the point of opt-in.
- Tap Save changes. Nothing is saved, and no message is sent, until you do.
This is what the opt-in control looks like in the app:
By turning on SMS reminders and saving, you consent to receive texts from Power Coit Health (JC Media Arts, Inc.): care reminders, daily and weekly summaries, and automated replies to your texts, which may include health details. Not monitored. Emergencies: call 911, or 988 in a crisis. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply. Frequency varies, typically 1 to 2 a day plus replies. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.

What is kept
The text of the messages you send and receive is kept for 30 days so the assistant can follow a conversation, then deleted. A meal or symptom you log by text is saved to your record, like one logged in the app, until you delete it. Messages travel through Telnyx, our SMS provider. The assistant answers only a number that has confirmed a one-time code and belongs to one account. The Privacy Policy has the details.
How opt-out works
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or turn the SMS reminders switch off under Settings → Reminders and save. Reply HELP to any message for help, or email contact@justincoit.com.
We do not use phone numbers for marketing. Your phone number is never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Removing your number from Settings turns SMS off with it.
