Terms of Service
The service
Power Coit Health is a personal health record organizer operated by JC Media Arts, Inc., 1880 Century Park East, Suite 1600, Los Angeles, CA 90067. It is available by invitation. By creating an account and using it you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. The service is early and under active development; features may change.
Not medical advice
The service organizes, stores and presents the health information you provide. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice, and nothing it shows or writes is a substitute for a clinician's judgment. At most it points out something that may be worth discussing with your doctor. Results are shown with the reference ranges and flags the source reported; an AI-written report, review or text reply can be wrong, so check it against the original document. Rely on your own healthcare providers for medical decisions.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account, which must be yours. Keep it secure; anything done through it is treated as done by you. One person per account. You must be 18 or older.
Your data
The information you add stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to operate the service for you, as the Privacy Policy describes, and to send it to the providers named there for the one purpose each is named for. Add only information you have the right to use. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from Settings.
Email and SMS
Email and SMS are optional and off by default. You turn on email reminders, SMS, both or neither under Reminders in Settings. Enabling SMS means entering your own mobile number, turning on the SMS reminders switch and saving; the consent shown beneath the switch reads:
By turning on SMS reminders and saving, you consent to receive texts from Power Coit Health (JC Media Arts, Inc.): care reminders, daily and weekly summaries, and automated replies to your texts, which may include health details. Not monitored. Emergencies: call 911, or 988 in a crisis. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply. Frequency varies, typically 1 to 2 a day plus replies. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
With SMS on you can text the app to log a meal or a symptom or to ask about your own records, and receive the texts you turn on: care reminders, a daily summary and your weekly review. Texts may include health details from your records. Replies come from an automated assistant, not a person, and can be wrong. The number is not monitored and is not for emergencies: call 911, or 988 for a crisis. No marketing. Frequency is typically 1 to 2 messages a day, plus a reply to each text you send. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required to use the service, and everything a text can do, the app does too. Use only a phone number that is yours. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or turn SMS off in Settings; reply HELP for help. Details are on the SMS Notifications page.
Acceptable use

We aim to keep it reliable but do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free operation, and we may change, suspend or discontinue it with reasonable notice, during which you can download your reports and original documents or delete your account. To the extent the law allows, JC Media Arts, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it in the past twelve months.
